Step 1
You bring a working original
The chip inside your fob holds a code your building’s reader already trusts. Partners clone that code onto a new blank. They cannot invent access you do not already have.
How it works
Instant Fob Copy is RFID cloning at a local counter: read, write, verify. It is fast because the original is in your hand. It is limited on purpose — encrypted or unsupported chips are declined, not forced.
Step 1
The chip inside your fob holds a code your building’s reader already trusts. Partners clone that code onto a new blank. They cannot invent access you do not already have.
Step 2
Low-frequency (125 kHz) and high-frequency (13.56 MHz) fobs sit on the reader. The Instant Fob Copy software names the family — HID, Indala, KeyScan, and dozens more — so the partner knows which blank to use.
Step 3
The code is written to a durable Instant Fob Copy blank, then read back. If the write does not match, it does not leave the counter. That is the difference between a guess and a copy.
Step 4
Most standard copies take a few minutes. Keep a backup, give one to family, or replace a cracked shell without waiting on the property office.
Compatibility is wide, not universal. Encrypted iCLASS and some MIFARE tags may be outside this service. The software tells the partner on the first tap.
A spare without a work order. Ask the partner for today’s rate when you arrive, or call ahead.
The same steps, every time. Software does the diagnosis. You handle the customer.
Bring the fob you already use. Encrypted systems that cannot be copied honestly are turned away at the counter.
